About 3/5 of the times, at least. There are typically two main reasons I like to draw fanart here and elsewhere:
1. I see enough fanart to get me "on mood" for drawing a specific characters, then I head to drawthreads to see if somebody is requesting that character.
2. I finish playing the game featuring the character, which again sets me on mood for drawing the said character, then I head to drawthreads to see if somebody is requesting that character.

In both cases the inspiration effect can last days, sometimes even more, sometimes only a few hours.

2. It implies that the only problem in these threads stem from lack of drawing, and not from the hundreds of other lurkers/requesters, who contribute no drawings to these threads.
