So how about this theory.

>Guy snaps and kills them all, "hides" their bodies in the animatrons, notices some weird shit happening, gets a security guard to make sure nobody finds out what he did.

>It's a nervous teenage kid, his gut's telling him something's wrong as he recorded the first message that had some shit the manager made up, kid tries to tell manager what's going on but he doesn't buy it, just says the kid's paranoid. Guard finally gets rekt by Freddy on day 5, gets put into one of the suits, the suit records the messages for the player to listen to, Freddy caught wind of this and "hollowed" out the suit, which is why it's empty.

And that's about it, but I think a bit of a stretch would be that the four females he married all had the same names as the animatrons. Thoughts?

So studying the game gives me this:
Bonnie and Chica have about the same AI routines, just on different sides of the map. They move, even while you are looking at them, causing a static interference when they do such. If you hear an odd crackling sound like feedback from speakers, that's them moving about.
Freddy and Foxy are 'Special'. They can't move as long as the Camera's locked on them, but here's the real catch, they seem to only aggro if you ever SIGHT them in the first place. Sadly you ALWAYS start the camera on stage, so Freddy is always tagged, but you don't have to tag Foxy in turn. If you do tag foxy, you have to play camera tag with both, otherwise Foxy will dash at times to wack your door for energy, and Freddie can't be spotted outside of Camera's making him the largest threat, able to jump in without warning.

So what's this game about? Where can I get it, it's not on steam.

I wouldn't mind playing a Five Nights at Freddy's and Poker Night 2 mashup where you're playing poker with a bunch of people at an old Chuck E Cheeses and spooky shit starts happening when you leave to go to the bathroom and shit.

What I'm wondering is, why do the automatons come at you?

I know the simple answer - they think you're an endoskeleton out of its suit, and that's a big no-no - and I know the general theory that all of them are former employees, including Freddy, who's probably the night watchman you were speaking to.

So tell me, assuming that this is a world where animatronics can do this kind of thing, how do we explain the supernatural stuff? Freddy sending you psychic messages to freak you out, the garbled speech and the like?
