There's nothing that can be done about the farmers they are in every online game with currency ever.
They've also been adding ways of making crafting less devastating if you get unlucky like the eternal orbs. Even in the new patch coming out they are adding ways to add your own modifiers to equipment and tasks to do for these master guys which you can get rep with.

As far as actual enemy design goes, Dragon's Dogma and Monster Hunter are excellent at it.
Even if most enemies in DD are classical monsters, the sheer amount of detail and quirks on how to defeat them makes them great.
Fromsoft wishes they could even get close to this level of design.

I really loved the Mursaat from GW1 for some reason. Maybe because they were so mysterious and had a skill that blow up your party in 2 seconds if you didn't get infused armour.
While I'm sure Dragon's Dogma has it's fair share of great things, I really don't think "original designs" is one of them. The way you fight the chimera might be interesting, but "some parts of the body take more damage from different types of attacks" has been a thing for a long while, and enemies changing behavior depending on limb damage has been a thing since limb damage has been thing.
This of course not even talking about the actual art design of the enemy, which is the point of thread, since Demon of Song is a pretty original design but his fight is shit.

I'm not sure where to even begin. I suppose the best advice would be to start by making a character that'll change jobs to acolyte, for healing and teleports.
Also, changing jobs is one-way; once you go aco, you really only have two options for much later. You have multiple character slots, though.

It's a korean MMO, which means grinding permeates the game: leveling, getting better equipment, dropping cards. You won't have a great time unless you leave those goals on the back of your head and just explore the world and all the dungeons with friends. You can go on a high-rate server, which means the grinding is much less severe than in official servers, if you just want some casual fun.
Overall the game has an incredible attribute/skill/class/item system that offers great customization with plenty of viable builds and playstyles. The War of the Emperium (think castle siege pvp) is unmatched to this day as one of the greatest PvP experiences I've ever had, but only in official servers, since they were much more competitive to my experience. The art assets and music are the top notch part of the game though, it really makes the game stand out among other MMO's.

The harness suit goes autopilot when the wearer suffers enough injuries, but programming oversights essentially made them walking berserk coffins that learned how to imitate the wearer's movements.
This guy actually gave me more trouble than any other boss in DaS2. This fucker knocked me into the lava every time, mostly when he only had a pinch of health left.
I remember one time I tried fighting him with a phantom, we had him down to a sliver of health, and he managed to knock me into the lava just as my phantom finished him off. I don't think I'd ever been that frustrated over a video game in a long time.

No, overwatch only triggers if you move more than one tile while in range of the enemy. He could have moved one of his men around the heavy cover car, since heavy cover offers visual concealment, and he probably would have had vision of the cyber disk from there. If not, next turn he could have moved one tile around the cover until the cyber disk was visible.

Well, yes, but all of this assumes that he knew it was there. For all we knew, he thought the 'disk was on the other side of the car. And then the disk gets a free movement turn after you've inched your way along - so you're fucked either way.
