This is the stupidest thing I've ever read.

Unless you have fucking hulk fingers, your thumb is generally pressing two buttons.

On 1. You can easily shift your thumb between two phases. Y/B and X/A. This is the best possible control method for face buttons. It allows you to easily press two buttons with comfort without you having to squish your thumb halfway on two buttons.

GC Layout is fucking disconnected as fuck. I swear every other button hates the B buttons.
You only have the A/B combination for B and Y and X want nothing to do with it.

Rarely will games throw sitations for you to use B with Y, but classic games and many new games on games with the diamond face style generally use the Y/B Method of control.

Snes did it for it's Mario games, N64's B/A was the same fashion, Alot of games use Square/Cross in that fashion for Action/Attack, XBOX with X/A. GC is a heap of shit and it's face button only adheres to people who use 1 buttons (OCCASIONALLY TWO) at a time. It's not comfortable to play a 2D Platformer on a GC controller because it's setup is ugly.

Not sure if you gathered, but I don' like horizontally sliding my thumb over buttons, I like resting my thumb and thumbjoint over Y/B.
