One of the love interests is the stereo-type of a "strong independent woman". She bosses the main character around alot, and is constantly on him for things like not quiting smoking, earning enough money, like she wants him to.

The other is the stereo-type of a... slut, for lack of a better word. She asks very stupid and empty headed, but at least seems to know men well, since she consistently plays with the main characters head until they end up having sex in various kinky ways.

The main character himself is a bumbling idiot, has a moral compass but continually ignores it throughout the game, but is actually really good with logic puzzles and data.

All of this is presented in a comedic, exaggerated manner though, to show that they are MEANT to be stereo-typical.

Vincent's personality is uncomfortably familiar.

Atlus USA actually did a really great job of localizing the game with regards to the banter. Persona still has a lot of uncomfortable pauses due to the fact you control the speed of the conversation. Conversation feels very natural in Catherine, characters talk over each other and react immediately, even if it's just with verbal nonsense for a second or two before they can think of something to say.

The stock phrase of it being the "Portstation Vita" is largely true, but what little original games there are, are all amazing, as shown by Gravity Rush shooting up my favourite games list, despite me only having played it less than a year ago.

And, the Vita ports are always the definitive, canon versions of games, so it's great to be able to play them instead of having to settle for the outdated, inferior versions on PSP/2/3.

The music, art, the universe, the lore, the combat, the characters...

It's on a portable console, yet it gives me more excitement and breaths of fresh air than any of the big-name home console games have given me in years.

You can literallt get a 34GB memory card for less than $20 now.

I got one back in 2012 for $40, and it's lasted me ever since. I've downloaded so many Vita, PSP and PS1 games, and still have a good 7GB left.

I don't see the big complaints about Vita memory card prices, They were only uber expensive when the console came out, and the bigger size ones can store ridiculous amounts of games.
