try to think of 5 things whit out thinking of Jackie Chan
>loved the fuck out of this show as a kid
>my mom gets some octagon tiles from Home Depot
>paints the symbols on them and adds a raised border
>my fucking face when I saw them
Didn't Jackie Chan have 2 video games based on the cartoon? Pretty sure there was the a GBA game that had a US release and a PS2 game that was PAL region and scheduled for US but never happened.
Your mother sounds like a wonderful person. Is she single right now? I'd sure like to fuck her and Hell, maybe even your step father if that's alright with you.
Would you like that son?
Awesome mum thread?
Mine would make custom birthday cakes, she once make one based on the Deus Ex logo, I didn't tell her to make that one either, she just noticed the symbol on the game's menu screen.
I reckon we still have a photo of it, I'll have to find it out some time.
Astral projection (leave your body in spirit form)
Combustion (explosions mainly)
splits user into good/evil halves
Monkey actually changes the target into an animal. At no point was it used to turn a person or animal into another person, other than to change them back. Of course, it was never attempted either.
You guys aren't looking at the big picture!
Invulnerability is so that outside shit doesn't kill you.
Self-healing is so that your own cells don't begin killing themselves off due to damaged/unwound telomeres and other factors, in other words; so that inside shit doesn't kill you.
With both, you're immortal!
>First seen in "The Rock". Gives the user the power of Healing. Its magic is that, "if activated, the Noble Horse expels all alien forces within," curing the user of foreign bodies (i.e. germs, viruses, etc). It can also heal physical injuries, repair broken objects and instantly relieve physical pain and disorientation (such as sea sickness) It was so effective that it even healed a hole the size of a cow in Shendu's chest in a few seconds. Found in an unknown mountain lodge.
Holy Fuck I want Crazy Diamond
actually dog makes gives you perfect health too, in the episode where they found it uncle was feeling all sore with his arthritis and stuff, once he started wearing the talisman he suddenly felt like he was 20years old again, hell I think he survived a whole tower crumbling
Kinda lame how dragon and pig are so similar, but I would pick monkey if it meant I can be a little girl, if not, then either dog or rat (assuming I can find a life size model of my waifu)
If you use the Rat to give motion to the motionless and use them on skeletons, along with the Sheep, Dog, and Horse you could become a master of life and death. Like a lich king or a lord of spirits
My childhood is a lie.
>You will never fuck a little girl
at least without going to jail
>it's so hard to find someone who'll fuck a little girl
>No mention of uncle in this thread.
You guys make me sick.
>IT'S SO HARD TO FIND SOMEONE WHO'LL FUCK A LITTLE GIRL
Well, Finn also slammed into a car tunnel (While he was on top of a truck I think) and then he says "Immortality hurts."
This is probably because he had switched his Horse talisman with Ratso's Pig (I think).
So they're not actually redundant.
>Not wanting bacon vision.
Look at this pleb.
>Voiced by some guy who now does Monkey for Kung Fu Panda
Damn, that anon smoove
>He thinks he's being sarcastic.
"James Sie (born December 18, 1962) is an American actor, voice actor, and comedian. He is the voice of Jackie Chan in Jackie Chan Adventures, Master Monkey in Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, taking over for Chan, and Eddy Raja in the Uncharted series."
Oh my fucking god.
I could have swore that I saw on a movie advertisement or during the credits of Kung Fu Panda that they said Monkey was played by Jackie Chan.
ON THE PAGE FOR THE KUNG FU PANDA FILM
"Jackie Chan as Monkey, a Gee's golden langur and member of the Furious Five; he has an easygoing attitude, and like Sun Wukong, the Monkey of Chinese folktales, he is adept with a staff."
>James Sie (born December 18, 1962) is an American actor, voice actor, and comedian. He is the voice of Jackie Chan in Jackie Chan Adventures, Master Monkey in Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness
>the voice of Jackie Chan in Jackie Chan Adventures, Master Monkey in Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness
>Master Monkey in Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness
>Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness
It's not as uncommon as you might expect.
People like Christopher Lloyd, Ewan McGregor and of course Robin Williams among others have some voice actors who fill in for them in video games, TV series and all that.
What about these?
This show went so downhill after season 1.
Different cartoon, dude. It was called Shaolin Showdown.
Also, Jackie Chan Adventures eventually became about sealed demons and then about masks that summoned other kinds of demon ninjas.
He turns evil in the season finale of season 1, then the first 2 episodes of season 2 continue that plotline.
It's from a different show, Xiaolin Showdown. The two shows are often associated with each other on /co/ because they have a few similarities.
Oh, makes sense, i never saw Shaolin Showdown.
>Also, Jackie Chan Adventures eventually became about sealed demons and then about masks that summoned other kinds of demon ninjas.
Now that's something i remember.
>love JC adventures growing up
>releases on netflix years later
>watch it again
Holy shit, it's so bad. Goggles are definitely off. The voice acting makes anime VA's sound like Mark Hamill
Government experiments once you are discovered. Imagine shit that unit 731 would do to you, now imagine that, but not being allowed to die.
Or they may just take the talisman away from you.
Also, you could end up trapped in a cavein, in agony for hundreds, maybe thousands of years as rocks crussh you and you just wait there.
or maybe someone just ties you up and throws you in a pit filled with cement.
Horse is best.
Assuming it works on mental problems, and cures my anxiety.
Also eventually you would end up with alzheimers or something. Uless dog covers that.
What? No it's not. I watched it again last year and it's still fucking great. Easily one of the better shows that aired back then. It really helped that it had a continuity until most of the shows then.
It has it's ups and downs in quality, the last season was weaker compared to the others, but it was still good.
There are some gems, like the episode where they ressurect the mayan god of sun, the episoe where they rewrite history so the demons govern the world.
It was a prety fun show.
You only cant die as long as you have the power, in this case the dog has to actually be touching you at all times. So all you have to do is take the thing off and you're mortal again.
That's a big downside for the dog. You lose contact with the talisman for any reason and you are at risk. Could be all the suppressed aging comes back at once, but I doubt that at least. Either way, there's no way you are going to live to the heat death of the universe because sooner or later you are going to make a mistake.
00 had an amazong opening, both of them.
Great first season aswell.
Which karma decided was too much, so they made a terrible season 2 and horrid movie.
Shame, 00 had so much potential.
Dog covers that. The big problem with dog is keeping it long enough to matter. If you can only hold onto the thing for a few years before someone takes it from you it doesn't do you any good, but several other talismans are useful from the moment you get them.
He only betrayed them once, because to be fair, they were being huge shitbags towards him.
There was a second time where he "betryed" them again, but that time was just a plan to foil the evil guys plans.
I'll take the Dragon Talisman and live a normal life
>try to think of 5 things whit out thinking of Jackie Chan
My little cousin is watching that Karate Kid remake with the mirrors' kid in it
not fair nigga
People will try to take the talisman from you. In order to keep it, you are going to need to rely on your own resources, especially the talisman itself.
Under this rule offensive talismans should be less useless, and immortality is near impossible to hold onto.
Now... imagine using the Rat to animate a life-size Space Marine statue...
>animating one of my stand figures
>Jackie Chan Adventures
Isn't that a show for little kids?
Yeah, it wasnt just the horrendus dub, the dialouge was terrible to.
As was some of the writing. Like when one was going to kill himself and stopped becuase a girl asked him to.
>Stand back, I intend to kill myself
CHEEKI BREEKI IV DAMKE
>tfw mom made me a bananas in pajamas cake, and a mewtwo cake.
Shiet nigga, those were great birthdays
>Implying I even remember those birthdays
But by the looks of the pictures, they were fun
