It will be guided, heavily scripted, and not worth full price.

PC here but between the 2 systems I found it pretty funny how the PS3 recovered after years and years of being shit on. 360 got some great sequels and even new IPs on it, not to mention usually, if not pretty much always having better looking multiplats, but it seemed to lose steam later on in its life - as opposed to the PS3 which actually started to do really well.

By the end of my time with the game (well over a hundred hours) I couldn't touch or take the series seriously any more.

GT6 doesn't even have a damage system that affects the cars performance. Every single car on there performs the same and the only difference is speed, Forza on the other hand has cars behaving very similarly to their real world counter parts, you can check any of comparison videos on YT. And the suspension system is just the car body floating over the wheels. So no, it's not "as much a sim as Forza", it's "as much a sim as the NFS games".

I think if this were the 360 they would have knocked a much bigger chunk off. The problem the Bone faces is that it's the 3rd iteration of an MS product. MS is well known that your first two attempts are basically free but on your 3rd attempt your product has to push a hefty profit.

They expected the Bone to launch as well as the 360 but also dominate the normalfag TV/Sports/Netflix space. Then use the non-optional kinect to collect and then sell analytics for commercials shown on the TV part and inserted into games.

Right now if you do a superbowl commercial it will cost you millions and you have no real concept of how people reacted to it. The kinect could passively collect these reactions and then be sold to advertisers (The debug readout uses ad-speak, engaged etc and expression/heartrate are way more useful to advertisers than game devs)
