If you beat 6 and 7 you should have no issues with Sacred Stones. Sacred Stones is the easiest. Just grind a little bit so you stop getting butt reamed. Make sure to level up the bby class person with the spear into a knight. That is the greatest late game tank in the game. Stats are beyond broken.

Also do Ephraim. I did Eirika and I highly regret it. She is so dumb.

depends, I can do no reset runs but I need to prepare myself mentally before I start playing, or else I'll probably end up dropping that run.
No reset runs, when I'm actually able to complete them, are some of the best experiences I've ever had with videogames, they're really fucking intense.
When I'm playing for the first time I usually play the normal way i.e. resetting when someone dies, but in the last few games I've started to play casual runs instead, there's no point in restarting other than playing the same stage over and over.

I like to use all the trainees personally. Amelia goes for speedy Knight->General, Ross goes for pirate->berzerker, and Ewan goes for Dark Mage->Druid with more than 5 defense.

Your other dark mage Knoll, is better as a summoner since he has no luck and no defense and gets rekt and needs the summons to be useful for creating distractions and not immediately dying if he gets too far from your army.

The only one that might use bows is Warrior Garcia, but then you'd have to be using Garcia and hand axes already exist so why even bother either way.

AS for units, especially on hard mode, you will want to abuse the tower at least a bit.

My favorite units to use are Gerrik, Joshua and Marrisa, and once you get them around level 13-15 they can take care of themselves

Then you promote them to Hero, Swordmaster and Assassin and wreck shop

Saleh and Duessel are also decent for pre-promotes (save stat boosting items for them)

ALSO, on Ephraims route, you NEED two staff users with restore because your units WILL get hit by enemy Berserk staffs.

Only thing that sucks more than losing a unit is losing it to one of your own.

Grado keep on hard mode is a bitch, but fun as fuck. Best level in the game.

Use all three trainees. If you're going to use a cavalier, Kyle is usually good. Its always a speed/skill vs str/def with cavaliers. Seth is actually a good unit he isn't your typical Jagen. I personally never use Jagens at all.
Ephraim will be your nigga.
Gerik will be your nigga.
Abuse arenas, abuse monsters that show up on the world map.
SS is a mage heavy game so you want Lute, Artur, and L'Arachael.
Ephraim's waifu is incredible as well you want to go the wyvern route when you class change.
Cormag is also an excellent unit.
Neimi is usually hit or miss. If you do use her it all depends on if you want the Sniper skill or the ability to attack at the 1-2 range. Either way she'll be the unit for the Legendary Bow.

If you're having serious trouble with SS you don't have the right units trained, you're not abusing the grinding heavy format they presented in the game, and you're just shit at FE in general.
