Nah as much shit people fling over ridley, if he was actually announced the internet would explode for maybe a couple days at most and then no one would care.
The same kind of thing happened with Pokemon ORAS, some people said it would happen, trolls would bitch endlessly about how stupid they were, people would then bitch about how great/shit rse were but when they were announced people just accepted it after a day.

The only reason people assume Shulk is getting announced tomorrow is because a guy who's retweeted other Smash announcements before did it again. I'm not saying Shulk is unlikely but it doesn't prove he'll be tomorrows reveal.

I do hope for Ridley though and I'll keep hoping til the game releases, but I doubt he'd be shown tomorrow. August would be better due to it being Metroids anniversary and there most likely being a direct next month.

If he made it? I think /v/ would collectively be hyped. I truly believe that. Not cause I want him in either. You can tell during the off chance when the threads are civil that a lot of people do want him in. That or they've lost hope of him making it and just try to drill into peoples heads that they believe he's just a boss. Plus if he gets in it means that any character in the hands of Sakurai and his team could work. At this point it's the only reveal I can think of that would get people to realize this. Even though Lil Mac and Pacman are good indications of it themselves.
