Klonoa was a bad game and I don't get the appeal. It's really for pre-schoolers.

The design and artwork looked promising but I was disappointed by the lack of difficulty, poor gameplay, infantile "story", if you can even call it that, characters about as smart as Patrick Star and the in-game graphics style.
Note, I played the Wii version and reviewed a lot of the original PS1 videos on YouTube.

You should still give them a try though, but sadly enough (like many other games), it's just one of those things that you shouldn't play in public.

If you're with friends that are also into vidya, you could use the nostalgia excuse and probably get away with it.

Hey, is the second GBA game more challenging than the first? Platformers aren't really my thing to begin with and it being a cakewalk is making it a chore to finish (this is ignoring getting all the crystals on the moving screen missions, some of those are pretty tough), despite how much I loved Klonoa 2 as a kid.
