I was able to get one for $100 (friends and family discount) and I'm starting to regret it. It's just been collecting dust since I finished Zelda.

I have one and other than being a Zelda machine I doubt I'll get much use from it.

Your custom character is barely a character at all. He'll basically spend half the cutscenes silently standing off to the side while named characters do plot things.
He'll spend the other half of them not being in the cutscene at all.
The only other remotely interesting aspect of the game was the multiplayer aspect, but that's not really worth going into since the games' servers aren't running anymore.

Damn, was kinda interesting in the Party Member/Side Character the perspective of the game. I guess it's hard to explain but I mean how the character isn't the chosen one at all but is dragged along anyway. The problem is that this requires me as the developer to "pass judgement" on your judgements while pretending to be the public. If you go full sperg literally Hitler and start gassing people then sure, I'm happy to tell you that no, that's not how the legal system actually works in this country, but there's a lot of grey between "nobody gets punished" and "everyone gets their hands chopped off" where I can't really declare that your judgements are right or wrong.

However, you've given me an idea for a "media-vision" where the facts known to you as the judge are different from the alternate facts that the media "knows" and is reporting about the case.

Maybe instead of the bad guys being corrupt shady people the "bad guys" can actually be the ignorant public who don't know shit about the actual case but think that spending five minutes reading an engineered article makes them an expert. So your end goal is to have the public think of you as fair and lawful, but the public's perspective on fair and lawful is actually the wrong one.
