So Pyre got a steam page now with a preorder.
Comes out really soon actually, in just 2 months.
Since they showed it last year I'd expect it to be in development for much longer but they seem to be finished.
For those who don't know or have been living under a rock, it's a new game by people who made Bastion and Transistor and if we know anything about those games is that it will look pretty and have a neat OST.
Also they did a full hour core gameplay showcase/explanations for what the game is

Problem transistor had for me is the shitty gameplay compared to bastion but this is even more streamlined than bastion and actually fun.

I'm looking for an ancient RPG, no matter how I search I can't find it.

>very simple rpg / hack'n'slash; you could pick up one weapon, maybe some scrolls? and one potion I guess
>interface was very simple, the whole inventory on the right side, always open

Levels were in a dungeon, with lava at places. There was not much loot, and I remember fighting some red winged demons or something. I might be wrong about things, it was a looong time ago.

What games have the most realistic gore?
I'm not talking about sick shit like torturing people, but realistic body effects like in warfare etc... losing limbs and other parts of the body for example. Or blood which splatters realistically.
It is very common in anime, but far less common in games. I want basically Hellsing: The game.

why don't games do a quick check of the file integrety on boot to make sure that no cracks or files have been added/removed?
if reloaded.nfo exists in the directory of the game then just simply don't load the game. likewise if steam.dll is 566kb instead of 1234kb then don't load the game.
no need for denuvo, no need for online-only. just a quick simple c# code to check file integrety.
or is this idea too dumb that even clever people didnt consider it?
