The Warriors, Vice City Stories and Def Jam Fight for NY are all the ones I've tried out so far, they all work fine, The Warriors dips to 55 in certain areas but it's not that bad.

It can make it very difficult to play offline.
It can also make modding difficult I believe.

Beyond that, it really doesn't do anything wrong. It doesn't effect performance so 95% of consumers realistically shouldn't, and don't care. It's only a loud vocal minority of neckbeards who get irrationally angry at the words "DRM".
It helps prevent piracy during the critical part of video game releases.
Ideally it would only be attached to a game for the first 3 months or so and then removed. It usually gets cracked after then anyways.
Unfortunately it's a necessary evil for game developers in order to protect their products from piracy.

As much as I love Heretic/Hexen, those aren't id games, they're Raven's ips and as such are owned by Activision. I'd love nothing more than to play as Corvus and at least one of the Heroes of Hexen. At least Galena is pretty cool and looks like she could fit into the series.

In regards to stuff more "narrative driven" stuff I couldn't care less how well it was received.
I get some people want more narrative focused games but I'm not one of them.

Jax and Daxter was cool but Uncharted gets treated more as a tech demo than a game from critics.
