It has long been talk of a possible presentation of Bloodborne II at E3 2017 in Los Angeles, but a rumor recently reported seems to suggest another: From Software will be present at the show but will not announce any project related to Dark Souls or Bloodborne but it could present a new IP.

The insider Nibel reported the rumor, however, advancing numerous doubts. The game in question should be titled “Phantom Wail” and would be in development for PlayStation 4. The source speaks of an action game fighting with bare hands (although the weapons should not be missed) with the setting of Maya or Aztec.

Below you can check the rumored information about the new IP of Phantom Wail posted on Reddit:

• Ancient Aztec/Mayan/tribal aesthetic.

• Emphasis on hand-to-hand combat techniques and “martial art styles”.

• Traditional melee weapons still in (i.e. clubs), but they won’t have a major focus; weapon-based movesets are gone.

• Instead, players will customize and personalize their hand-to-hand movesets and fighting styles, there is customization for weapon fighting styles as well, however. (This kinda-sorta sounds like Nioh to me, with the weapon skill trees and such, just my personal opinion).

• Is the “Souls-like, dark fantasy, familiar” game Miyazaki mentioned when interviewed about the future of From Software. Armored Core and a “strange for From Software” game were the other 2 mentioned.

• Collaboration between Sony Japan and From Software (it’s the Sony exclusive title).

Okay /v/ I just marathoned the entire Kingdom Hearts series. I bought 1.5+2.5 and 2.8. It was my first exposure to the series ( I see it gets talked about here a lot). And I must say, this series is fucking magical. This is now my all time favorite video game series. The gameplay was outstandingly fun. Probably the best combat I've ever played. The music is pure sex and the characters were likable and I actually cared about them.

I did hear before I started playing the series that the story was batshit insane and yes indeed it was but for some odd reason, I loved it. It's filled with over the top bullshit but that's the beauty of it. You just want to see how much more crazy the story will get.

Let's have a Kingdom Hearts thread. I am running off pure hype and enjoyment and I pray Kingdom Hearts 3 will be at E3. Oh personally my favorite game in the series is Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. The most fun I ever had playing a video game

This is the progress so far. I'm removing Greninja because the same picture was in the 2016 collage, and I'm removing that Emoji squilliam. There's still room for more Squilliam as you can see empty spaces here and there that need to be filled.
