This game is the best in so many ways. Yeah there are games that LOOK better and are free like TERA, and several others that will beat in one a handful of criteria. But WoW got hundreds of others to recover.

That entire list is wrong though, WoW's lore gets bent over a table every expansion. The game has been around since 2006. The gameplay is exactly the same as the MMO's preceding and following it. Star Citizen is the most legendary game for wasting your money on digital items. WoW was successful but especially after Warlords of Draenor it's by no means even the best MMO available.

For the sake of clarity, I think we should say X-COM and XCOM.
And that image does indeed look very similar to XCOM, would have fooled me if you remove the hud. It also looks like they're keeping the 2 action turns, why not go back to the action points of X-COM ?

The new Nintendo under Kimishima is one of smartphones and mobage, of eSports and Nintendo Versus, of a focus on Gen X and gamers in their 20s and 30s, of closer attention to market trends, of voice chat and premium online, of online personalities and game streaming, of stripping out the "gimmicks" and going back to what its competition is doing and returning it focus to "core gamers".
Some say good riddance.
Some lament its passing.
For better or worse, Nintendo is not the same company it was even two and a half years ago. Anyone with an attachment, or grudge, towards Iwata's Nintendo is directing their emotions towards an entity that no longer exists.
