I'd say this generation has till sometime around 2019 when the new consoles will come out...unless the Scorpio and PS4 are it...which sounds like viable options. How much more can they REALLY improve graphics past the Pro/Scopio?
With that said, at least for consoles gaming, i'm feeling like it might be time to go ahead and throw in the towel and get me a gaming laptop...
Looking at the PS3 and Xbox 360(I'm omitting the wii cause who cares) within the first 3 years there were TONS of either exclusive titles are new franchises that started up.
Thats not true with the current gen. Even now with upcoming games, they're either boring continuations of franchises 3+ deep in games or another HD remake.
I'm talking about AAA titles btw because they drive the sales and success of consoles.
Sure theres been new indie titles with cool ideas, but indie devs can't carry consoles on their back.
Unless new franchises start coming out, core gamers might start moving towards PC.

Why is it so hard to purchase a decent fight stick?
All across Amazon the good ones are either not for sale or only through some third-party seller, often from China. Same with Newegg pretty much. The one I see recommended most, Qanba Obsidian is like sold out everywhere. How do they expect people to play Tekken without a stick?

I have a stick, but I use my DS4 for Tekken. It feels more natural.
I also didn't have this issue, I just placed an order and got my stick after a week.

Loved the first one, the setting and gameplay were both excellent but the story was pretty weak. The DLC was like 1/3 the length and had a more impressive story.
What am I in for with 2? The AI tweaking seems nice. Thinking of going Emily on my first playthrough.

At about 1 minute in you can see the village area, it has an actual sun now and doesn't look weird and bright (new village is on the right of my image, old is on the left). Could it be? Are these guys actually listening to us? Or since the interview is with DICO, maybe they're just better than Inti?

Cautiously so. Everything looks so small and quiet. In the first, you constantly saw blaster fire flying across the map and heard the troops shouting orders and information to one another but I noticed a lack of that here. I also don't like the fact that the hero specifics lines from your officers and in comms were replaces with generic "The enemies has a champion" lines. I gonna miss hearing "Lord Vader is here to provide assistance"

Different genres but huge audience overlap. You already saw the effect that Automata coming out a month before P5 had on the latter's reception: significantly more muted compared to P3 and P4. Also notable that 3/4 are pre-Nier games.

Beyond worth it, amazing line up and 4K/60fps. My roommates and I are getting two between the three of us on launch, way too keen for super lucky's tale and sea of thieves. Keeping a cautious eye on Anthem too, of that lives up to the promises it will be mind blowing on the Xbonx.
