It's an ok game for a single run.
The story is set apart nicely from the other two because it couldn't live up to expectations - yet, it doesn't live up to ANYONE'S EXPECTATIONS BECAUSE IT'S BATSHIT STUPID

The gameplay is fun but mindnumbing.

What they mean by that is that old games withing a certain genre may have old designs or mechanics that may be outdated or archaic today compared to new games withing the same genre.

Video games do age in a way. Sometimes a game that was good in the time it came out, like say 80's or 90's, won't hold up by modern standards.
