I just want to play an MMO. I'm sure this is flawed as all get out, but I just need something to pass the time with. Or is it so bad it's not even worth it. I don't really want to give blizzard my money because I hate them but I'm kinda nostalgic for WoW. What's the state of the game?

Uncharted 4 is bretty gud, unfortunately the same can't be said about Sam's AI.
I'm on that part where I have to follow those arrows in Madagascar, I got off the boat to explore the island, then Sam just sets off until reaching the map's limit.

Did the AI simply developed free will? I can only imagine the horror in finding out that freedom is just a texture surrounded by an invisible wall. Reminds me of The Truman's Show ending.

I'm referring to roleplay in terms of multiplayer games.
What are your thoughts on roleplaying in video games?
Do you think it can be done well?
Has(and how) it been done well ?
Any other thoughts?
There have been a lot of games/programs that have attempted roleplay (Space Station 13 and any most other BYOND games, several garrysmod gamemodes, 2nd life, 3D worlds) with varying success.
I find that SS13 was the closest to enjoyable roleplay, with the most enjoyment coming from a server with no listed rules.
I personally find having to deal with admins and too many rules annoying and counter-productive to the enjoyment of the experience.
