Do you think that we're experienced diminishing returns in graphics in video games? I mean, it seems the difference in graphics gets smaller and smaller every generation.
I don't think we're ever going to get another huge gap in graphics like we did between the 4th (SNES/Genesis) gen and the 5th (N64/PS1/Saturn).

In terms of polygon count, yes. However, we are getting better lighting, particle effects, post-processing, etc that all help make games look good beyond the number of polygons on screen.

Proper legal protection as consumers in this industry. Enforcement of existing laws in the EU, and passing of parallel laws on the burger side of the pond. If these 2 markets are hit, the rest will be affected directly.

For the sake of brevity, in this order, talk, make noise, make demands, boycott, contact democratic representatives.

No. Gamergate was a political movement, by the end of the day. I intend to keep this movement focused on the business side of the videogame industry only. Also, to prevent falseflags and trolling under the guise of this movement, I intend to keep it organized. An open forum of discussion of central issues will be established, but an official channel for the issuing of statements will exist.

Glad you asked. In short:
1) Conception
This is going on right now. I am checking the air for public interest and just getting the word out.
2) Organization
An official website and non anonymous forum need to be established. A discord channel for initial discussion is up. After some discourse, a "manifesto" needs will be drafted, as well a statement of intentions.
3) First Contact
At this point, it is time to be heard. Letters for various publishers will be written. These letters will contain a short introduction of who we are, as well as a statement of intentions and a description of the change we want to see in the industry.
At the same time, a public statement must be created, one that is a statement of intentions for the public of gamers. It must be not only a statement, but an invitation to join the discourse in the PnS movement, so that each consumer can show what issues matter to him. If possible, "Garme Journalists" should be contacted, with the request to publish the open letters to the publishers, as well as the open statement.
4) Real Work
While being nice and asking for things might sway some of the smaller birds, it never changed anything. The end goal is putting the issue of customer rights in this industry on the table where it matters, and it can be done through enough public pressure.

Your wallets. Boycotts work, when you don't break because "there's just this one game I HAVE to buy." Consumers have more power than you can imagine, you just have to use it where applicable. And, of course, your voice as a citizen in a democracy.

None of them consist of mostly gamers. Many of them are not familiar with the intricacies and dynamics of this industry. We must work with those organizations, but a driving force must be created.

The New Xbox is for people to dumb to build a PC but also smart enough to care about specs.
I guess it's going to do multiplats better than the PS4, but there's really not a lot of material for them to work with since Microsoft nuked all their good IPs with shit games.
If you've got a good computer you can probably pass on it. Especially if you have another computer with windows 10 because apparantly that's going to be getting a lot of the same games the xbox is getting.
