So lets say I buy an episode of that game and don't want to replay levels, which would make me a complete dumbass for buying it in the first place because that game doesn't work if you only play a level once, and then I play the one level a month... What is the problem here?
What exactly is the advantage of playing the levels of Hitman one after another? I'm not seeing it.
I mean I get it if you don't like the game at all, it's a pretty niche title and has plenty of flaws, but there is nothing wrong with the fact that it's release model is episodic.

If you know what to do you can pretty much always still finish the game, at least in 1. I don't know much about 2 but it's a good deal longer than 1 and I've only played it once.
There are a lot of quirks and oddities that set it pretty far apart from lots of other CRPGs. The SPECIAL system and the Perks add a certain variety in how you define your character and how the game reacts to said character that is one of the best in video games for role playing that many other games fall far short of.

It'll be a lot more fun to have no idea where to go and just fuck about with a ticking clock than to just look it up and effectively ruin your first playthrough of the game. It's not hard to figure out, just don't pop that browser open.
