So this is kinda specific but I'm trying to run GTA Vice City on my PC. I have Windows 8.1 and everytime I try running it I'm presented with the classic "Unhandled Exception" and/or "gta-vc.exe Has Stopped Working" errors.

I've tried everything the internet has suggested the DEP "fix", using Compatibility Tab, downloading ddraw.dll, uninstalling and reinstalling and yet, nothing.

Is there any lesser known fixes for this? Surely someone out there has experienced this and found a fix? I don't understand it, I am able to run both GTA III and GTA SA just fine, so whats the exception with Vice City? Someone help me before I shoot my PC followed by myself, I have wanted to re-play this classic for ages now!
