So, I've got a good amount of hours into Mad Max and I feel like talking about it even though I haven't beaten it yet.
It's pretty shallow, and a lot of the content is recycled and the whole game suffers from the next-gen collectathons disease that a lot of open world games suffer from. Here's a map, go check out these points and collect pointless shit.
That being said, since I'm a Mad Max fan I'm still having fun with the game. Looks pretty, car combat is fun as fuck and I don't mind the Arkham style battles too much.
What did /v/ think about this game?

Shallow trends game mechanics carefully timed to release next to the newest succesful Mad Max movie made me steer clear of it. Mad Max is cool and all but at no point watching did I think "this should be a video game, I want to do what Max is doing" maybe because it was the inspiration for so many other games that copied it's style.
