the ps2 game was good, and sequel was planned but it got shut down. What would be best?

>fps or third person?
>set in an arctic research station or in a jungle like the comics?
>some sort of dynamic with other characters, a trust system?
>finding evidence or clues as to who could be the thing
>AI of the thing adapts to current area, if you're fighting it in a storage room or out by trees it will adapt to jump around the player.
>day system, have to survive for a certain number of days, or until everyone is confirmed to not be a thing
>if it was multiplayer it could play out as a single person starting as the thing and trying to eventually assimilate everyone in the round, assimilated individuals can keep trying to kill until they're killed or the round is won
>remaining humans try to survive and kill the things

Alien and predator games have spawned some pretty interesting and fun games, even the friday the 13th game that came out was fun. it's a shame that movie tie in games typically are bound to fail, but given to a competent team it could play out well.

What other movies could play out well as videogame?

Any games similar (or extension as in mods) for my all time favourite game Warcraft II? Preferably with multiplayer ability (dial up is fine hence I got a patch for that)

One of the many many flaws of fallout 4 was how it started. The idea of showing the pre-war world and the whole frozen thing? That's fine. That's RIPE with possibility. But the whole SHAAAAAAAAAAUN thing and voiced protag? Fucking christ i did NOT like that. It felt way too limited in how you could roleplay,barring you simply totally ignoring the main quest.

I don't think they'd be foolish enough to do anything like that in the distant future ES game,but I wouldn't wager money on it.

If i were going to create an ES game, I'd probablyset it in either Elsweyr or Hammerfell, and i'd start it out with youseeing a strange series of phantasmagorical lights and images of the desert and moons, then that ends and youfind yourself lying on the ground, surrounded by dunes. you get up and find the remnants of a group of people, all burned to death rather grusomely. You walk over to a nearby oasis and do your character customization as you look into the reflection. At that point you have a few vague clues about who the people around youwere, but you're totally free in the world right after makingyour character. I think having a big, genuine mystery in front of you and the freedom to ignore it is way cooler than a lame on rails exposistion fest.
