I really enjoyed this game back during closed/open beta and even the first year of its life. Shame Funcom does what it does with every MMO it runs.

it's on maintenance mode. was fun back in CB/'08. lol'd at one of the GMs cybering with a user and it getting plastered all over the net. i just re-tried it in may, for it's 9th bday, there are people playing but it's pretty much over.

Demos provide both word of mouth and let people have a first hand try of the product, so hopefully they do them more when they realize how benefitial they can be when proper. It's free marketing in this day and age and devs/pubs have finally remembered that.

There may be some extra things added, I don't know. I saw the teaser video for the remaster, and it just seems all so pointless. There doesn't seem to be anything (besides updated graphics) that makes it any different or better than the original. And regarding the graphics, I feel like the updates take the 'heart' out of the visuals. The tacky blocky graphics are quite endearing, and to have them remastered and 'too perfect', takes a bit of the playing experience out of it for me.
I'll still probably end up buying it and playing it and probably enjoying it, but it all seems so unnecessary.

The Wii U is a fucking stain on history and the Switch is barely surpassing it in quality. The GameCube is canonically the last Nintendo console ever made, I refuse to acknowledge anything else.

The worst game here is the main one that I wanted. I used to play Amazons and Aliens (American) so much as a kid. Great baby's first RTS
