I don't understand the point of a season pass. It doesn't make any sense. What season is your pass for if I can just buy it any time I want?

Heh
Here's a (You)
Yep about as funny as Mitch was.
I really hope it's good. If it's not good, I will be sad ヾ( ;×﹏×)〃
Convince me there is hope /v/!
I feel like making a TEW thread, because this game is fucking great and /v/ being wrong yet again. Indoors locations 10/10, outdoors are 0/10. So far Ruben's house is best chapter and I don't really know what's going on with that plot.
No one? Okay
>reddit loves the new monster hunter
It's over for you, /v/. MHW is pretty much confirmed to be successful now
Can someone explain how Final Fantasy XV is a big difference from what Final Fantasy Versus XIII was and the released FFXV? I remember reading about FFvXIII way back when but how are they that different?
>>381231134
They scrapped pretty much everything from versus and made XV in 3 years.
>>381231134
The only few things left from V13 are the main characters, some other characters from the empire and shit, Insomnia, the whole teleporting combat system and some small things here and there. That's about it. Now it's basicly a bad retelling of FF1 with some shit from all FFs thrown into the pot
What's so bad about escapism, /v/? Reality is awful and does a removal from realism not lend itself to much more interesting and fascinating experiences?
>>381230878
It's not healthy.
>>381230878
Reality is awful, and escapism is great as long as it can sustain itself. The trouble is, extreme escapism tends to be self-destructive. That's why I maintain that the best answer to the miseries of life is suicide. It's quick, simple, and permanent.
My reality is awful because I didn't take the time to put anything meaningful into it, now I'm a 20's neet with only a history of sitting in front of a screen.
Jim Ryan on Indies 'It was just good to talk about in 2013. It is less relevant now'
And one of the things you didn't really show were indie games. You didn't really show any last year, either. Now clearly indie games are coming to PS4 all the time. So why aren't you showing them anymore?
There was a time and a place, in the early stages of the life of PS4, to make statements. It was more about making a statement that we are serious about the indies, and that we are doing this and that with the indies. No Man's Sky and so on and so forth, which broke out from that and carved its own niche. You know, right now, we have tonnes of indie content on the platform. And the fact that we elected, along with many other things such as Gran Turismo and PlayLink, not to give it its own spot on the stage this week, in no way means it is not important, or it is not there, or we don't worry about it. It was just good to talk about in 2013/2014. It is less relevant now. We have VR to talk about now, for example.
>>381230831
>that example
Um...now we don't, it's dead Jim.
>>381230831
Is this man intentionally retarded so when Sony come around next generation with BC, cross-platform multiplayer etc. they can look like they've changed?
It's been a while since we've been a littleISOLATED
Why didn't they base this on ST? It was their biggest mistake to not do it with STHDR, it's not like anyone bought this version for the shitty Udon graphics.
>try to post some bait opinion to get sweet (you)s, like saying Final Fantasy VI, Deus Ex or MGS 3 are bad
>place has become so contrarian nowadays that you get more attention if you say they're good games instead
Anyone else just hide threads with emojis, voldemorts, and frog shitposters?

My take on how to fix /v/
/v/ has become essentially a "gaming politics board" ever since the creation of /vg/. All that is talked about here are upcoming games, not actual released games, or e-drama.
What happened was all the people caught up in e-drama stayed on /v/, and all the people who wanted to talk about video games went to /vg/. Here's my proposed fix.
>get rid of /vg/
>make a new board in its place, /vs/, eSports and competitive games
>endless League, starcraft, fightan, etc. general spam stays on that board still
>all the single player and co-op game generals go back to /v/
>ban all political discussion on /v/
>/v/ is saved
thoughts?
>Hans buys TWO balls of ice cream, both balls are Yoghurt flavor
>he pays 3 bucks
>The next customer is mike
>Mike buys ONE ball of ice cream, same store, same sized ball, same flavor and yet he had to also pay 3 bucks
>Hans happened to witness the whole thing and told mike that he got screwd over considering that He (Hans) also paid 3 bucks but he got TWICE the ammount of the Same exact ice cream
>Mike told him that he doesn't care and that he got used to paying full price for half the product
Fucking console gamers

what
>>381230554
Just memeing how console players pay full price for 30fps.
As of your question. Bait threads sadly get a lot of replies and it is easier to do so, and yet a few well written threads about video games, recent examples being Metroid threads, are still hitting bump limit.
My advice to you is to use the Filter and block out stuff like ''What did he mean by this?'' ''what went wrong'' and games that you don't care about like in my case ''Horizon zero dawn''. Just use the filter, you will have at least constantly 30 threads blocked, basically cleaning up your /v/ catalog to suite your taste.

>"Steel. Stone. Concrete for miles. I wonder if there's anything in this world worth saving. Desolation. Tyranny. Enemy of endless might. I wonder if I have any friends left standing. It comes down to it, I'll fight alone. But I'll promise you this: friends, if this is where they're keeping you. I will find you, and set you free."
I saved over 30 chickens that night.
