Childhood is idolizing Thief 2
Adulthood is realizing that Thief Gold makes more sense
>>381607058
I never understood why people complain about the monsters.
They're not that much different from the robots in 2.
>>381607225
Robots were more predictable which helps with stealth, and they made sense in the story. You could also deactivate them with one water arrow
Karras>cuckstantine
>combat far inferior and less precise than MGR:R
>open world for literally no good reason
>lol so deep baabys first philosophy 101 class

MODDING SYSTEM POWER RANKINGS
>God tier
None
>good tier
None
>OK tier
Elder Scrolls/Fallout (has a built in GUI for managing mods and can generally load large amounts of mods and uninstall them without much trouble)
>bad tier
Doom (mods are dragged to an executable and the game has no way to see what mods are loaded once in game, doesn't have any way to detect incompatibilities, shit sometimes doesn't work with each other, can't load more than a few mods without problems and many more issues)
Minecraft (requires slow third party tools and can be a pain to install)
>shit tier
GTAV (requires a third party tool that overwrites the game files and requires you to make backups of the massive game folder, have fun uninstalling anything)
>dog shit tier
Most PC games ( drag and dropping files into the folder)
>JUST tier
Modding console games
How would you design a good modding system, /v/? What games do you have that are easy to mod?
>>381606629
Banished's system is good, it checks for incompatibilities in game and you can easy load mods in the game and through the steam workshop. It also lets you control the loading order to try and get things to work even if there are incompatibilities.
Tbh I haven't found one quite as good.
How about learn how they fucking work?
Go to /vr/ if you wanna know how to handle Doom mods properly.
>>381606976
>that feel when you added Doom because you knew you would trigger their fanbase this easily
Kek
Only played FFIII, FFVII and FFXV, with FFXV being the only one I completed. I got a gift card so I can pretty much get FFXII steelbook for $10. Worth it?
>>381606564
Yes. You will really appreciate this especially after FFXV.
>>381606564
For 10 bucks, it's a steal. Do it, the game is good btw. Not the best FF, but one of my favs.
>>381606564
>Should I preorder?
No, wait to see if they fuck it up like they did with the FFX remaster.
>he doesn't roll the fairest and wisest of all the races

>A massive trove of Microsoft's internal Windows operating system builds and chunks of its core source code have leaked online.
>The leaked code is Microsoft's Shared Source Kit: according to people who have seen its contents, it includes the source to the base Windows 10 hardware drivers plus Redmond's PnP code, its USB and Wi-Fi stacks, its storage drivers, and ARM-specific OneCore kernel code.
