what gf?
Say what you want about this game but the gameplay and graphics were incredible.
>Tfw we'll never get the finished version.
>Tfw we'll never get the REAL game where you witness Venom becoming the bad guy.
>>381574925
people who bitched about the story were obviously newfags to the series who "didnt get it"
If you were a fan of the series, then the story made perfect sense. Also, just because this was the last game in the series doesnt mean its the last one story wise, that was 4. All this one did is fill in the gap between the peqeuls and Metal Gear (1988) so all the newfags got butthurt because they wanted everything answered even though that was never really what this game was about. People just played MGS3 back in the day, saw a few cutscenes from 4 on youtube, then played this and got butthurt because "lol it dont make no sense kojima is a hack!"
>>381574925
also, all things aside, this game had the most kino trailers ever.
>>381575768
There may be more games in the future but judging by Survival I don't have a lot of faith in Konami..
Doom is the greatest game ever made.

Nah.

It's better with mods
What was their endgame with this?
>release product alot of people want
>release very few
>discontinue it

Maybe some of its components were also used for manufacturing the Switch? They already have shortage.
Wii U's failure damaged Nintendo's reputation and brand image so they release a nostalgia box to have customers 'member the good times while at the same time create an artificial scarcity so Nintendo can be seen as "the must have" product that people kill each other over so they can make the news with their long lines and high-demand. All of this done on purpose so Nintendo's brand image would be in a place of strength going into the launch of the Switch.

My friend bought one off a scalper for a marked up price. Along with all things Nintendo, deal sites now act as a resource for flippers and scalpers. They find out about the consoles early, then set to work using fake addresses and P.O. Boxes to scam sites like Amazon.
I heard the folks at Bethesda are using paid mods
Paid. Mods.
Don't think you can barter with me like I'm one of those damned console players.

business ruined art, you heard it here first
Don't suppose you can mod my sword, dull old blade can barely cut butter
when will they learn?
How do we make Kairi relevant again?
>>381694132
Build a wall between the worlds!
Kill Aqua so Kairi can usurp the role of dominant female
Have her eat da poopoo fruit
anyone know any decent f2p multiplayer shooter games? like dirty bomb, I used to play crossfire, but that was eons ago.
Paladins, Battleborn. It's a good time for free games.
If you like vehicular shooters Crossout is fucking rad. It's like Twisted Metal but with customizable vehicles.

Has anyone played it? Should I get it?
It's great, very underappreciated

Thinking very hard on pulling a trigger on it, probably will once I come back from work in 2 hours. Care to elaborate what makes it good? I watched totalbiscuit video about it and he seemed rather pleased with it.
ITT post series that prove less is more
every time they added new shit the series kept losing more and more of its magic
Chris chan invented the let's play with this game

Well they havent made one for console in forever. I would buy a switch if they made a new animal crossing for it.
I don't see how having more options for things to do could possibly detrimental in Slice of Life the game.
That said I don't really understand why people are clamoring for a new one, New Leaf is obviously the definitive Animal Crossing, I can't think of anything the series needs at this point other than like a villager roster update and just more villager dialogue.
>getting a Steam release next month
>current non-W10/Xbox version now available on Arc
so now that you have no excuses, whats' your excuse for not playing?
>W10 Store exclusive gave up and came to Steam
If only Killer Instinct, Gears of War 4 and... no, that's it, came to Steam they wouldn't be so fucking dead.
>>381574678
It's shit
>>381574678
A lot of people here liked it during the various early phases but then nu-/v/ worked it's usual magic and now no one is willing to admit they ever enjoyed it at all.
is health drain (like Akujiki in Shinobi or Symbol of Avarice in Dark Souls) a good mechanic or an annoying one?
there's no point to it.
Annoying.
If I would want to sppedrun levels better just record my time if I ever would want to improve it.
No need to hurry me up, I prefer to go on my own pace

It's good for games since a lot of games really need a time limit. Players that are looking for more of a fantasy simulation kind of thing will be absolutely disgusted by it because they're playing to fuck around in a digital world rather than deal with managing more resources like time. Making time a resource makes your actions cost something, actually adding consequence to your decisions. If someone is interested in decision making giving consequences to their decisions is more exciting and interesting to them. If someone just wants to fuck around more weight to their decisions is literally the opposite of what they're looking for.
This game ruined any other open world game for me, I can't go back to them without feeling them shallow.
This game has an unprecedented level of attention to detail and interaction for its huge world that I don't think will ever be matched, I can't go back to games that won't let me burn an entire valley
Anyone else feels like this?
>>381574669
Give it time. Far Cry 5, AssCreed, and other open world games that follow the shitty Ubi formula were all in development before BotW came out. Games that are starting development right now are going to be the ones that start showing inspiration from BotW.
Then again, I doubt western devs can make a game to the detail that BotW was at. The Ubi formula is easy to produce. Look at HZD, which blew all of its budget on the graphics and had to settle for simple gameplay mechanics we see in every other open world game.

Looks like shit

>to hell with gameplay i only play games for muh graphics
Sounds like its unstable pc emulation is right up your alley.

When the fuck are they going back to that series
>casuals say sf and gg are dumb because you just memorize combos
>casuals love mk, tekken, and injustice
>these games a full of preset combos that you have to know to play
Explain this
>>381574514
>have to make up your own combos in gg and sf
>get spoonfed combos in tekken and mk
Seems obvious to me
