But it's still retarded. Metroid games are years apart and all very different. No one is "satisfied" by AM2R and thus loses the desire to buy another metroid game, even if they were released within hours of each other. Video games aren't hair cuts. There's always demand.

If they wanted to tell a story focusing on Samus' fear of Ridley, make it a prequel. The Mom theme is clearly tacked onto the plot and doesn't add anything

The big problem is literally all of the elements of the story in this game are just moot. No matter what happens we're back in Fusion, anything could've happened as long as it didn't contradict

The gameplay clearly has some potential, but the fact this is the one game whose story has ruined its reputation shows that needed work. Also holy fuck the Varia Suit design is so bad in Other M, I hate it so much
