I haven't even modded mine I was on the firmware and I thought about it, but decided against it. Frankly I'd bought everything I wanted to play at that point, and the thought of not being able to play new games made me decide against it. Don't regret it either.

I've been playing shiren 5, wild arms 1, suikoden 1, FFVII, and remote playing bloodborne on it since i'm out of my home country. It's pretty surprising how well it performs. Latency's up there so parrying is a no go but otherwise, damn, pretty smooth.

Heis call to fame was making masterpiece from shit tools, partly because no one beside him have mastered that tool.
Now that everyone got great tools and can make everything sounds ok without much effort, the different between him and other makers are much lower than what it once was.

from what i remember it's a x-com rip-off set in the wild west with zombies or something and darkest dungeonesque narration

the narration is really try hard cringy and the gameplay is worse than x-com

just buy x-com instead

The setting is excellent, though it's not exactly your average western, obviously.
The atmosphere in general is superb.
The gameplay is very dynamic, lethal (even though it's turn base) and fun.
The card combinations you can do are varied and often ridiculous in a good way.
However, the ending is rushed and there's very little to do on the overworld.
Overall I really liked the game but not everyone can deal with some of the flaws it has.
