The motion controls work, there is no stressful 1 iframe link clusterfuck like in other fighting games but you really win when you are the better player.
Why do people give this game so much hate? I also read that "the only way to win is playing extremely defensively and wait for the opponent to punch first". I never play defensively. Never. And I win almost every single match.
I recommend ignoring the offline modes against AI. I forced myself to finish it on highest difficulty and hated the game. Maybe that's why people give it shit? AI isn't fun.

I'm probably not the only one who feels like this: I felt like I had to decide between sinking the next months until Mario into ARMS or Splatoon and since I doubt Splatoon can compete with Team Fortress 2 which I'm still playing from time to time and I really don't want to play shooters with anything but mouse/keyboard, I decided for ARMS.
You can enjoy the art anyway.

Netcode is fine, and they announced the schedule for DLC. First batch with outfits later this summer, new character in winter, and second character next spring/summer.

So I got the game 2 months ago
Its poorly made
The actual game is poorly balanced and you can basically bluff the game
Since you only have 3k life the match ends in a second
Who ever goes second has a higher chance of winning because he attacks first
That means that I will destroy his card leaving him with nothing
Then he puts on a card, probs a weak on
I go next, now I have two cards, him only one
I guess I already won and he lost
what exactly went wrong?
