I once got stuck while playing pic related. It was before I even had a computer, so I couldn't look up a guide. I was just midway through some dungeon and the way forward was not apparent. I spent hours trying to find a secret door or switch or something, ended up backtracking the entire game looking for anything I missed. I turned the game off and never played it again.

I've been stuck on that cunt for weeks. Tried to look up FAQ, but all it said was "this boss is pretty hard, use your best fighters and best abilities,don't forget to heal, and use phoenix down if someone dies". You can imagine just how mad I was. In the end I've beaten it through meticulously calculated repetition. I spent more time on Evrae than I did on Seymour's multi-form or Sin.

Nope, which sucks. It felt like a return to those very offbeat Japanese PS1 games. I miss games that experimented with mechanics like that, combining a 3D visual novel type thing with a weird puzzle platformer. Everything is being condensed down to very basic 3D action, RPG, Shooter, 2D Platformer.

Isn't it crazy that Nintendo who never did 3D open worlds suddenly do 3D open world and are just as suddenly one of the best at it?

I think this just showcases Nintendo's incredible qualities again. They probably can do whatever they want to do, probably even a good horror game if they really wanted to.
