It's by far the hardest part of the game, which is a bit of a shame. I struggled a lot as a kid too. Going back to it these days you see it isn't too difficult. Aside from the criminal draw distance this game was really great. It's a shame the series went the way it did. I never did play 3 or beyond.

Has it ever hit you /v/? A point where you just simply can't be bothered playing games? Not due to laziness, but a lack of real pleasure?
I've never been here before, but every time I start a game now, I see all the useless bollocks it throws at me and all these needless systems rather than just getting it and playing the damn thing or just going through levels. The completionist in me can't just ignore it either.
What's happened? Will it pass? I can play competitive games like fighters or even shooters, since they're easy to just launch and play but outside of that I can't get into things

I remember playing Jak 3 on my good old PS2, and that perfect combination of action, platforming, cool quests, dungeons, vehicles and that sweet free roaming. I loved the interactivity with the world, at least for being a platformer, mainly because the evolution of the society that you can see while you were advancing on the main quests, and also how unique the world looked like, I mean, I can't see any other work that this game took a direct inspiration (not like the 90% of western RPG, for example, that every one of them are just Tolkien fanfiction).
Any thoughts of this franchise?
