It's being made by the guys that made Resurrection and Rage burst, right? That means it's at least going to be 7/10.
Not that Souls-like means anything in the first place, other than the unjustified hate of a game for being similar.

Going from a 380 to a 1060 is not even an upgrade anon.
I'm still on a 290 and am not upgrading until I go 1440p/144Hz since it still maxes everything at the current resolution.

From what i could see online a 1060 is quite a bit better than an r9 380. I can't max a lot of games and i want to save up for a vive which the 380 can't really hold steady good frames for a lot of games.

That's old Blizzard for you, they used to make challenging games. Now their strategy is making casual games and marketing them as competitive.

Beyond the Dark Portal requires you to know each level as closely as you know your main in any other game.

Why dont you just get arma 3 or arma 2 and play that with your friends? Pubg is a fotm meme game people are going to forget and move on to the next meme game. At least with arma you can play a battleground scenario or make your own games.

My friends and I made a map called "find the terrorist" where 1 player is disguised as an npc and has explosives, and the others have to find and disarm him without big guns.

Thats the reason we see the desperate guy posting the collage of publishers that wont port their games on Switch suddenly pop up.

I think your problem is that you take /v/ seriously and think that opinions here are worth anything. Nowhere else have I heard anyone say the switch is flopping, obviously it is doing quite well by catering to a niche audience of people who prefer handhelds or nintendo (I'm in the first category)

Mostly the soundtrack and 2B's ass. Gameplay is pretty shit.

It's not a disaster but it did fall short of outdoing NieR

My main gripes are the combat system, whilst fluid and responsive, doesn't feel very weighty and there's very little viscerality to it all
I also don't like the characters, 9S is probably the most annoying shota bait I've seen in a while
I don't know how they could mess up so bad after Emil was such a good boy

Also, I didn't exactly get pulled into the story very much
Papa Niers dillemma gripped at my heart and got me wanting to save my daughter where I lacked that sense of purpose in Automata

The soundtrack is also a step down in my opinion, they kept it more lower paced and quiet which I didn't think fit the fast pace of the game

I think a rerelease for NieR with the piano rendition of the soundtrack and slightly upgraded visuals with both Papa Nier and Brother Nier available as seperate campaigns would be a much better game overall
