Is there any legit reason why nintendo sucks so hard at designing controllers?

Like these things don't even remotely follow any convention of ergonomics, 1 gen is excusable, but literally all of their controllers have been terrible.

What? These controllers are all pretty much well designed around the system itself, and well at that.

The PSX controller didn't have a stick for 3D games yet and the PS4's controller has a light bar which will suck the battery dry. Can't comment on sega and Microsoft controllers have always been pretty fine and ergonomic.

Virtual pet thread.

A whole lot of virtual pet stuff is shovelware apps. I'm surprised devs haven't capitalized on virtual pet games, even outside of sub-games like Pokemon Amie/Refresh or whatever's going on in Kingdom Hearts 3D.

I miss the connectivity of the slightly later Tamagotchis and of Digimon.

I kind of wish Chao Garden was its own game, too.
