Prince of Persia, Rayman, Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, Far Cry, Dark Messiah to name a few.
I miss the time when their logo splash screen was a seal of quality, been over a decade now.

Nintendo World Report did an interview with Mario + Rabbids creative director Davide Soliani. At one point, NWR asked Soliani if they could reveal some exploration parts of the game. Soliani revealed details about the game’s chapters, boss fights, and more. Here’s what he had to say:
>“I don’t want to spoil much, but I will say it’s 30 percent of the overall game. It’s needed to connect the combat phases, but I didn’t want to ever just have a hub where the player could load battles. I wanted to create a seamless experience and that’s why we said players should really immerse in the exploration, and you know every world is divided into 10 chapters, like the chapters of a book, you can read just a chapter, or you can read multiple of them. There’s are some secret chapters in each world. In each world there is a mid boss in the middle of it. There’s a boss fight at the end of it. There are secret chapters, and in between you have exploration where you can collect treasure chests in order to find collectibles, but also cool weapons that can upgrade your character. You can solve puzzles to advance and you can meet several other heroes that will start to be part of your roster. And each of the heroes has unique abilities; these will open up new possibilities in terms of strategy gameplay for the players to be applied on the battleground.”

That's stupid. The mask doesn't lend itself well to a video game medium and Platinum's usual over the top action specialty goes even less in line with the mask's style.
Unless you base it off the comic mask and make it about a new character who's id is all about being violent AND stylish. Like some weeb finds the mask and it brings out his anime fantasies.

That, and the life and hometown gets you in, but they characters really do grow on you. It's understandable why people get upset that every character is cut down to one gag and want SK7 to go back to its roots of ninja things and characters we can care about, with varying levels of lewdness intertwined in everything.

I usually build forestry outposts with other forest stuff attached all leading back to the main village. Build a couple of houses near it too so people live near work.
It can be a little tricky getting people to move into appropriate houses though.
Also make sure they have access to the market.
The other big thing is be aware of how much stone is left on the map and build mines before it becomes an issue.
That or start trading like crazy but that brings plague eventually so be prepared for that

I guess the dialogue could have bee better. Animation was never bad nor was there ever any QUALITY. If anything you could just tell they were on a small budget at times.
And if we're shitting on the writing I guess we might as well just shit on CV3 since it's just an adaption.
