The early 3D loops were scripted and so they had to add a speed source so you wouldn't walk into them and break them

The fucking music. Man, nothing sets the mood for a quiet nature escape like IV. The art and relatively minimal setting add into it but not nearly as much. The only exception is III, which has fairly gritty environments but makes up for it with comfy sailing.

Even EXP bars.

The artstyle and character designs are very generic to me, and the characters themselves apparently are very similar (if not downright identical) to existing Smash fighters.
Sound design is atrocious too, but maybe that will change since the footage is claimed to be pre-alpha.

I don't get the die hard love people have for SM64. I had that game as a kid, it was clunky as fuck and 99% of the levels were terrible. Coming to that off of SMW left a terrible impression on me. OoT was the game that made the N64 worth owning, SM64 was a tech demo that never should have been released.

He's really the villain of GoW. He made things progressively worse every game. They made him a god and the next thing you know he's walking around as a 100 foot giant destroying cities just like Ares who he killed in the first game.

It always pissed me off when games make boes immune to status. There is almost no point in using something like poison on a grunt and the boss is immune to it, so poison is rendered useless.
