What went wrong?
Will ARMS die completely once Splatoon 2 is released? I put around 60 hours into ARMS so I got my money's worth but I see no reason to continue playing.
It has done pretty well for itself so I wouldn't say anything went wrong.
You can still get matches very fast so it's not dead.

>What went wrong?
what didn't? you play as boxing clowns with slinkies for arms
>>384592508
Where are you from? Here in Europe lobbies are empty until 12am and it's very hard to find higher ranked matches until 8pm in the evening.
>game considers "you will die a lot!' as it's one of it's main features

This shitty game keeps tripping me up with its awesome cover.
>>384593240
Why its shit?
>>384591486
Not bad but not particularly good either. Worth about 3 dollars at most.
Join in the diversity, /v/. All DLCs of BF1 are free this week thanks to Premium Trials. Hop back into the fun!
>>384591385
Fuck, is that the actual cover?
>>384591385
What I don't fucking understand by this industry is why they still partition a multiplayer community with DLC instead of making it so that everyone can actually be able to join the dlc maps. You would figure it would help in the longevity of those maps, because they will end up being ghost towns relatively fast. But no, the honest answer as to why they still support such a shitty business practice is because the consumers will eat any shit you serve on a plate to them instead of speaking with their wallets. Christ this industry is almost as fucking bad as the movie industry.
who the fuck wrote these games ??
Anthony Burch /thread/
a sad, strange little man
Post yfw you are not Anthony Burch
Is VR worth it?
there really isn't much in the way of games for it
>>384591129
Seem like a very expensive play test. So in my opinion, no.
>>384591129
Shitty novelty toy, it will catch on big for s short while when the price is lower but then people will realease they prefer to game with a pad sitting on the couch not wearing a tv on her face.
Basically same as 3D and Motion controls.
Remember, no Russian

Banana Tiger.

Something something, choices and consequences, something something.
Witcher 1 was more of a rpg than witcher 3, same with witcher 2.
Both games are average.
>>384590601
You just explained it
Do you know what I realized? Our parents really put up with a lot, in regards to us playing video games and hogging the TV back in the day.
Like dude, imagine all your responsibilities and stress, and in the background you have to put up with annoying video game sounds on the weekend that you tried to have a nice day off.
>being so poor that you only have one (1) tv
>>384590781
We did it, but still imagine having to hear that in the house.
it wasnt all badkyle
Would you give Inafune another chance if his next Megaman game (or MegaLike) had a character like Roll as the protagonist? You like Roll, don't you?
Roll is shit
>>383791370
>>383791217
a character like roll, isnt roll though. inafune should just save up until he can fund legends three that way he doesn't have to worry about capcom bailing out
Did you buy her game today?
>>384590520
does she get naked in it?
>>384590520
No I'll wait until it's on an actual video game device
>he got the igoy version
So for anyone that has a Switch, do you use a screen protector at all? My Switch is arriving tomorrow and am wondering if a screen protector is necessary, and if so which one(s) would you recommend?
>>384590506
I don't use one, because simply I'm not an idiot. I know it is quite easy to scratch screens on any device, but as long as you carry your switch in a case, keep it docked when not in use, and play it with a firm grip you should be fine. I would recommend getting a dock sock though, and they are 10$ on Etsy
I bought a screen protector and it was a complete waste of money because it had tons of bubbles and wouldn't stick on flatly. I ended up throwing it out and my Switch screen is completely fine, not a single scratch. People who tell you the screen protector is necessary are just trying to scam you.
>>384590506
My dock has scratched my orzly glass screen protector, but my friend doesn't have one and his is fine.
My dock is bent.
Who do you main in Arnold Fighter?
the pregnant one, who grabs the fetes by its umbilical cord to choke his foes to death
Commando > all

Damn, I should watch the movie again.
What are your tells for when to quit playing a game, /v/?
Would you still call it enjoyment when you play because you don't feel like doing anything else in particular?
Do you immediately quit if you don't feel the purest joy out of playing something? Actually, do you even require to be in a smiling mood to call your time with a game enjoyable?
Or do you sit there in front of your screen, with no particular way of thought, no particular sense of happiness, just "being", and playing a game because it's what you feel like doing?
I operate on a subconscious three strike rule
>>384589627
I quit when the game feels more like a chore than fun. Your pic is very related
>>384589627
I quit playing when a game either doesn't actually feel fun, doesn't test my skill in any decent way (I can't enjoy dungeon crawling hack and slash games and shit for this reason) or when the game has absolutely bullshit retarded mechanics that make the experience meaningless. Like having rubber banding AI in a driving game, or enemies level scaling like in oblivion. Oh, and if a game has a mechanic that's vital, but it doesn't fucking explain it, it's dropped.
