I finally bought a ps4 after playing on the ps3 for nearly a decade. I got the uncharted 4 bundle, an extra controller, and two other games for around $250.(hood sale)
The problem is I'm not having a lot of fun. I bought every playstation home console and always had fun immediately after purchase. Am I just too old for this shit or is the ps4 the problem?
Also dubs decide what games I buy and trips decide what game I'll sell for a dollar.

I think it's because games have gotten too expensive, nobody wants to publish mid-budget obscure gems with no marketing, everything has to be an AAA game now, even from publishers and franchises who can only get by on A games.
So nobody does anything new or risky, everything must sell a million copies.

Dark Souls 2 has such a special feel/atmosphere.
It introduced so many mechanics/improvements to the series.
It feels a lot different than any other entry. Hell, even Bloodborne is more similar to Dark/Demon's Souls than Dark Souls 2.
All the other Dark Souls and Bloodborne felt like a Demon's Souls rehash -not necessarily a bad thing- but Dark Souls 2 felt like a new fresh non-rehashed entry, and whether you liked it or not, it should be appreciated it for what it did.
Why does /v/ hate it?
