As children me and my brother would spend all of our chore money on playstation magazine instead of just buying a game, then if we really liked a game we would run down to video-ezy (aussie blockbuster) and rent it. Super farm however was one where we could barely stop playing the demo to go outside and sunk at least 200+ hrs into it, also every-time we made it down there it was already being rented. Good times were had. So /v/ what are some of your comfy experiences with demo's?

I never played a final fantasy because I hate turn based games but this looks much or action oriented.
i loved kingdom hearts which had a great mix or action and rpg elements but heard the combat in this game sucks dick. im more interested in gameplay than story and graphics.

Gameplay is really bland if you compare it to kingdom hearts. The combat doesn't evolve nearly as much as a kingdom hearts games combat would when you level up and it ends up feeling really shallow due to lacking variation in different character builds and skills.
Some people seem to like it for it's simplicity though and it does occasionally manage to feel good to play if you're not looking for something deep.

It just doesn't know what it wants to be and feels and probably is unfinished in almost every aspect. Wait for the PC version in a few years and then pirate it because you'll have to buy the DLC to know more and wait years and years for small story cutscene updates and shit if you buy it now
Aside from that it's mostly a bland open world game where you do hunts that are pretty bad over and over again unless you go thorugh the story which goes to shit halfway through

I just started playing it a couple of days ago and it's my first ever FF game. I was pretty disappointed by it, it plays like a Ubisoft open world game. For the biggest JRPG franchise in the world I expected it to be less generic.
