SH4 had some interesting ideas at least, still miles better than the garbage that came after it.
I don't know how they managed to make the main character so bland and unlikeable after Harry, James and Heather though.

The worst game you wish was better.
You'll be:
>sifting through trash weapons 90% of the time before getting a really good weapon
>that really good weapon will be useful for two levels before being scaled out of usefulness
>learning speed strategy just to skip as much dialogue and story as possible
>possible changing the voice audio to a different language just so you can have combat chatter without having to listen to awful dialogue
>reaching level 31 and getting a really fun capstone skill
>having fun with said level 31 character for 3/4ths of NG+
>reach NG++ and realize that the game is broken and unplayable due to bullet sponge enemies and absolutely needing specific gear to progress
>said specific gear will also only be useful until the next few times you level up, only now you need specific weapons to do basically anything
Not the worst game I ever played but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want most of my time from pic related back.

Because the former (if the latest Corocoro is anything to go by) seems to be going for Digimon-level of edgyness for the next YW proyect, and considering Pokemon copied the whole magic watch/bracelet and ghost companion thing for SUMO, I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same for the 8th gen.
