Not sure why it bothered me so much, but it felt like atrocious design. For some reason I don't care as much in games like Duke3D or whatever. I think it's the whole having to smash/shoot the box for no reason.

Just started witcher 1. Played 2 first and then 3.

It's been fun so far, I actually like the rhythm combat system, maybe more than the sequels, it depends oh how good the game is. Don't like the VERY clunky and sometimes unresponsive movement and interaction with objects. I know some people call it the best witcher game, but unless it has the best story, I can't see it beating out the other two, especially 2 regarding the story and characters. We'll see how it goes.
