I loved playing Breath of the Wild, but I agree

It's like most of their time was wasted redesigning the 3D Zelda formula and getting the feel of gameplay right, but they forgot to actuall implement anything else

I fell off that wagon a long while ago. I gave it a shot since it was Splash Damage and they did Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, but between the loadout system and general feel of firefights, it slowly faded away for me. If I want my FPS fix nowadays, I'll boot up Titanfall 2.

I did this with Pillars of eternity. I went into the last area underleveled and then couldn't beat the last boss. I refused to lower the difficulty (I only play games on hard) and was permanently stuck in that area. I then watched the end on youtube the end.
