Nier is my favourite game
wtf is that some lego game? holy shit
I finally bought Playstation plus and pic related. What are some other must have multiplayer games? Also, is there a website to see how many people are online in each game like steamcharts?
Are there full servers on BF1?
>playing rocket league on a console
Remember when people though Saddam Hussein bought 4k PS2s for nukes.
I really don't, and I'm 26.
So that's why they hung him.

This plus Smash Ability.
>>384948737

Don't-a-mind me! Just-a-trying to get to page 10!

>>384949161
Just possess the way through page 10
shit endings genreal
>>384948702
both of them sucked
>>384948702
can't agree more
really enjoyed the game, but the ending was very dissapointing
How hyped is /v/?
>>384948526
Not in the slightest. FPS is the genre for literal retards, fucking League of Legends pisses on the entirely of FPS in terms of skill.
That and Quake Champions itself is a garbage FPS.
>>384948887
>thread ruined with bait posting
>US gets game that defined every Mario from then on
>Japs get a half-assed, rushed level pack
US got a reskinned port
That fucking mask motherfucker used to scare the shit out of me.
>>384948485
OP, that's not a picture of SMB3 or SMW
Games with incredibly deep mechanics?
league of legends
Which one is the best?
1, considering it's the only good one.
>>384948468
1 > 2 > 3 > ME:A
>>384948580
>>384948637
>Falling for the ME1 is good meme
Is this game really as good as /v/ says it is or is it just a meme game?
I started playing it recently and unless it gets a lot better after New York it's a dated piece of shit.
I'm assuming its praised for the player agency and story because the levels are sparse and simple and the gameplay is rough and tedious.

It gets praised because it's a masterpiece of game design.
Deus Ex does not heavily rely on scripts, but most scripts only trigger when you enter a certain territory or trigger a certain world-entity. This allows the player to freely move through the map, using skills, augmentations, items, etc. as he pleases to complete his objectives. The game relies on its own engine and its mechanics rather than context-specific interactions. A door can be picked, opened with a key, blown-apart by explosives, etc., an NPC can be knocked out, killed, and so on. In a modern game you have a lot of interactions that only work in a certain place at a certain time, which makes the game rather static since it forces the player to do things in a specific way, whereas Deus Ex is much more open to the point where there are solutions to in-game problems that the developers did not anticipate were there.
A second aspect which makes Deus Ex brilliant is that not only it gives you all these tools to freely solve your problems but when you do the game keeps track of what you do. If you kill everyone or if you're mostly peaceful will get noticed by NPCs and change their disposition towards you. If you kill certain NPCs at certain points you might change how certain events play out. While these are mostly minor it's still something we rarely see in games.
There are also lots of other things, e.g. Deus Ex uses dynamic music that changes depending on what you're doing in-game.
While gameplay itself is dated in some regards, it's very state-of-the-art and up to this day rarely challenged in others.
>>384950440on my first playthrough I resolved to kill Anna in the airport because she was a prick and the game actually adjusts itself based on this
Just finished this and yes I realize I'm 5 months late but god damn this was amazing.
Either this or Persona 5 is GOTY.
Westerners blow the fuck out once again
>>384948239
My man. Jap games are best games.
>>384948239
Yeah, I agree. Nier and Persona are easily the best games that have released in year IMO.
>>384948527
I don't think they're always better. The Western AAA industry feels like it's really stagnating nowadays, while Japan is killing it, but that's not always the case.
>>384950224
I can't type
I meant "released in years", not year
ITT: Post a video game character and a song that relates to

>And got so far
>But in the end

Remake of Rondo, Dracula X is best game.
>>384948053
Original rondo is better
>>384948053
They replaced two original tracks from the game with garbage tier shit. It also isn't as fluid as the original pc engine game
How dare you sir!
you can't play pc engine up close in bed on my vita>>384948424
I can't believe I missed this for 3 whole days, but there's FINALLY a video with all the logs IN ENGLISH!.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S80Ft8tvZXE
About time, too. The logs were the only thing I was interested in in this game.
Also, I must stress once again, for the third time, that all the new enemies are pretty shit in comparison to the old ones. Not like I'm surprised by that.
>>384947898
Oh I forgot to mention:
People are gonna ask about this, so I might as well explain:Wogpoles and Wollywogs are called Wolpoles and Wollyhops in this version because apparently "wog" is a racial slang in Austrailian English and British English. The more you know. It's like that in other Pikmin games,
too.
>that shooting spiner description
i can't believe even fucking Nintendo has this shit in their games
>>384949176
well to be fair there are quite a few animals that can change their gender
although they have actual purpose to do so
