>It's been months since I've actually spent any time playing a game
>Check some videos of a game that look kind of fun. I could purchase it, but it feels like it would be a waste of money, since I wouldn't have the time/patience to learn the mechanics, let alone finish it
>Download and open up Steam for the first time in almost an year and check my library (300 or so games). No games I feel like (re)playing
Fuck. I guess I outgrew video games. Good Bye /v/.

They made Carol look cute, but that doesn't excuse the game looking like shit
have been without computer for 6 months and only been playing on my ps4, which is my first console except for ps2 but i barely played back then. Been getting interested in buying a used older console to experience older games that I've never had the opportunity to experience. What to choose from for me is either gamecube or Wii (can you play wind waker on that btw?) but I'd never liked Wii controls and it's basically for the Zelda, xbox/360 for the exclusives or ps3 for RDR and because I tend to like Sony the most.
What do you guys think I should get? Economy and what used ones cost respectively is also a big factor to take into the equation.
>>384958706
U fockin wot m8
>>384958706
I would suggest 360. Someone gave me their old one and I've been enjoying the hell out of it because there's a lot of really good multiplat games on there, games that are focused on cool atmospheres like GTA IV/V, RDR, LA Noire, Oblivion/Skyrim. If you love open world games like that it's the shit. There's also cool games like the Bioshock series, Mass Effect, Dead Space. Its basically the ultimate multi plat system
Isn't RDR on PlayStation Now? You can play that on ps4 and pc.
>>384959083
Just play on PC.

>enemies can enter your safehouse
>>384958608
Well I guess it ain't a safehouse then, is it?
Name 1.02 games that do it.
>trying to cheese the Tank for the first time by going back to the safehouse
Leave retro-vidya kino to me
Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel the next big game being developed for a PC I have to pay my life savings for... and the focus on blatantly upping meaningless graphics updates... even when it makes the games run slower. The focus on gameplay I've lost... the framerate I've lost... won't stop hurting... It's like they're all still there and you could make a good, optimized game that could still run on older computers. You feel it, too, don't you? I'm gonna make them give back our games.
What the fuck is Cipher?
isn't he just zero?
>>384958310
how much of the series have you played?
The Patriots/Whatever Zero created to fulfill The Boss' dream./pol/'s boogeyman
ITT - We post theories and rate others
>a company called Bridges is established with the purpose of researching space/time travel and human evolution
>they somehow manage to find a way to warp space and time using the psychic abilities of genetically enhanced babies
>these genetically enhanced beings can use parts of the brain that are unreachable for normal people, through biotechnology, humans were able to transcend their own limitations, creating a being that surpasses their understanding (think of the Star Child at the end of 2001 A Space Odyssey, Kojima's favourite movie of all time)
>the fetuses however cannot warp as they please, they need something like a host to direct them in the right direction and pull the necessary strings and coordenate thoughts
>>384958256
>for a normal human to experience time/space travel, they have to be connected in a primordial way, a way that both beings would share nutrients and thoughts
>a surgery is made so that hosts(humans) can adapt to be receptive of the fetus, an artificial umbilical cord is what keeps both host and fetus attached and able to warp time/space
>brain implants are sometimes also necessary as our undeveloped cerebrum would reject the strong will of a being that has transcended humanity (scar on Del Toro's forehead)
>however, our forced evolution led by our knowledge of biotechnology did not go unnoticed
>our defiance, our pride, our greed, our lack of touch and care with what surrounds us, we never thought we would one day have to pay for these mistakes
>an ancient and god-like alien race, responsible for the advances of various primitive races throughout the whole universe, even our own (another reference to 2001 A Space Odyssey) did not take kindly to our defiance of the natural course
>we didn't know, but they have always been watching us since the start, they have always been there, looking, judging, helping since the start of everything (Swedish radio on PT talks about "they")
>upon thousands of years of surveillance, our race is finally judged for our mistakes, and our own wish of transcending our humanity was what caused the rage of our observers
>the ocean, the water, the very same place where life started and is therefore seem as the origin of everything, now has strands that spread throughout the waves spreading death to all living things, umbilical cords that seem to suck out nutrients instead of providing them
>a disease that seem to attack our reproductive system making both man and women unable to conceive children (reference from Children of Man, another one of Kojima's favourite movies)
>5 generals are also sent to our planet in order to make the harvesting of resources and crowd control easier, buy mainly, to hunt the genetically enhanced beings we humans were able to create
Here's mine for Death Stranding
>Kojima uses company funds to hang out with his cool Western actor friends and then cancels the game for a tax writeoff
Is smash a fighting game?
It's a ring-out game.
I think there was an article onSourceGamingwhere Sakurai/the Japanese had a different term for Smash than fighting game, but I forget.
Yes it's a fighting game, no matter how hard any faggot doesn't want it to be it is a fighting game.
It's amazing that this can ever even be up for debate. It's like saying Mario Kart isn't a racing game.
No. The fighting is optional and characters can die via other means.
They call her Tracer because they took Kei from Dirty Pair Flash and traced her.

I can't believe they genderbent and aged up Spike from Ape Escape.
Trial of the Sword in Master Mode is the most disheartening shit. It feels like you need to be able to abuse enemy AI/animations like crazy to even stand a chance. Has anyone here actually beaten it? Standard Mode pussies need not apply.
