I liked it but some alien designs just felt odd.

Archon, Avatar, and Codex are just really bizarre looking.

Also the alien rulers look silly and the chosen look like mass effect aliens.

I really enjoy it but it has some flaws. I kind of hate how the game seems built around save scumming. It definitely feels like you're just going to lose a campaign if you completely fail one mission, there really isn't a release value to give you some slack when you catch a bad break.

I'm still really hyped for the expansion and am enjoying the ridiculous amount of mods out there.

If possible, get a SNES Classic (comes out in September, stock for the system may be very low)
If not, get him a Switch with BoTW and Splatoon/Mario Kart 8
If XBOX is preferred, get the Xbox One S along with any E-T rated games

I think the wood looks cool and all but im still not sure what it exactly is, it plays classics and moderns but what are the moderns is it a steam machine, is it atari making new games, is it third party? I have no idea but i want it to do well so there something else to talk about beside ps4 and xboxboxxbox

I can't get into Mother 3, its whole "technology is brainwashing everyone" message feels so forced. If the first two games take place in modernized towns and have positive and negative aspects in their world, why does 3 make modernized Tazmily out to be a total shithole?

Mother 1 is good but it is a famicom jrpg. Compared to most other jrpgs of that time it is pretty forgiving overall but it has some tedium.

There are four crucial points you should grind.
>Ninten leaving his house
>Ninten entering magicant for the first time
>Loid joining your party
>Ana joining your party

Some tips too.
>psi is very strong here but the game doesn't tell you how each spell, look up the psi as some do special thing like reducing an enemy to 1 hp
>you can buy the best armor in the game as soon as you enter magicant technically. You will need to grind but buy the best armor as soon as you can
>be prepared for duncan's factory, it is the ultimate casual filter, grind Loid and buy him some armor
>get the onyx hook, you'll need it
>bread is your friend. If you use it as a item you can use it almost like a save state as it allows you to go back to where you used it

Zelda games, MGS, Overwatch, Dark Souls 1. These are by far tge worst.

It's typically a game that takes over 40 hours to beat and has multiple discs that prevent massive level/dungeon skipping. What the hell were you expecting. I actually really enjoyed the FFVII run at SGDQ.
