Yes, Shadow Warrior (both the original and the remake) were basically Duke Nukem but instead of making fun of american action movies it made fun of Japanese action movies, SW 2 dropped that entirely and with with the "le wacky and ridiculous weapons and randomly generated levels" approach

So I'm kinda late to this but why was this such a meme before?
I remember a lot of threads shitting in this game, and today I had nothing to do and decide to give this a try.
I gotta say, the way the dialogue with NPCs work is really charming to me. I usually just skip talking in mmorpgs but in this one my answers actually matter something.
I just wanna know why exactly it failed.

What are some video games with realistically-sized mountains? Not any of these "mountains" that you see in games like Skyrim (the Throat of the World, pictured, is 700 meters (2,300 feet) tall, making it nothing more than a glorified foothill) or the Witcher 3 (though, to be fair, I haven't gotten to Kaer Morhen yet, so maybe there's some pretty mountains there). I'm talking about mountains - jagged peaks that rise, at the least, 5,280 feet, or around 1,600 meters out of the ground. I know it would be difficult for a game world to accommodate such massive terrain features, so it's okay if they're outside of the world's edge. I just want them to be in the game and rendered in polygons.

Sure, it's the literal definition of a walking simulator but GODAMN is it a gorgeous one! Picked it up on sale and didn't regret it at all. The Visuals are A+, the Voice Acting is A+ and the music is A++ The atmosphere is also much creepier than I imagined
