So uhh, when does this game get good?
It gets good when you get toTHE GAAAAAAAAAAAMMMEESSSS

Don't bother OP. It's not an adventure. The combat is literally hitting one button. I can't even tell if this is an RPG game or not. Literally one enemy recycled over and over. The platforming is so fucking garbage you will drop the game at the Tarzan level.
After Deep Jungle because Deep Jungle is the worst.

Why dont we get games like this anymore? Innovative, new, outside the box, breaking the mold, risk taking, etc.
Games today feel so safe.
Think back to the PS2 and PS1 days and how many IP's have died since then. Even IP's that lived have gone to shit and are near death or dying like Resident Evil and Silent Hill
Nobody wants to take risks anymore, so they only release sequels, rehashes, and remakes these days.

Money's the obvious answer. The industry has gotten more and more expensive, and publishers are terrified of stepping outside of the mainstream where they know they'll make a profit.
I think Rule of Rose is terribly underrated in terms of atmosphere and story, but the gameplay really drags it down. Really wish it could get a Remaster, but I doubt they'll dig it up again after the poor reception it had on release.
PS1 and PS2 games could be made by a relatively small AA or even Single A studio, the cost of entry was lower so individuals could afford to experiment
Modern AAA gaming employs enormous studios with thousands of people, sometimes even several of these studios crafting modules of the same game.
Every game is a ridiculous gamble, studios can't afford to take risks on experiments.
One flop will tank not only the game itself, but every other game the publisher is working on.
tl;dr 2002~2004 was the last time a major game could be made with a sensible amount of money and man-hours, gamers will have to start accepting games that aren't bleeding edge ultra-realistic graphics so that studios can cut the fat and make cheaper games.

The online of Dark Souls is an abomination in practice, an interesting idea theoretically. The netcode is fucking garbage and you can't co-op without getting ganked.
Will videogames ever be as mainstream as cinema and socially acceptable for adults?
Video games are unironically more mature than the movie industry right now.
>check out most popular movies
>all capeshit garbage or reboots
>all all CGI so it's literally more animation than movie, fucking roger rabbit is more live action than 90% of movies these days.
Normalfags are manchildren, autism is mainstream.
vidya are normie tier now. Look at all those "epin yootoober" doing gameplays.

Why did they have to make him so outrageously ugly? It made playing as him kind of a drag

It's shit.
Bulleta is never coming back and it saddens me
Blackheart, Saki, Howard the Duck, Cyclops and Lord Raptor for DLC
Also give us pair play so I can co-op with friendos.
I've been playing ROBLOX for a long time and recently their horrid community is stealing your cliches on the Roblox forums such as *REEEE GET OFF MY BOARD" and "FUCKING NORMIES" I'm not a big 4chan guy, I'm just curious to hear what you guys think of the whole situation that's going on. (I'd like to state I'm not part of the horrid young community, and am part of the more mature fan base.)
lol mods
Anyone have that video of that old man playing Roblox screaming and trashing his room?
I'm 18. I have a part time job at my local grocery store

Went through the PSP version twice, so probably not unless there's new content.
Who gives a shit. The real question is how in the fuck do you pronounce this game's name?
they can make the gameplay alright, but why do they never even bother with making mildly engaging plot
I've been a physical fag forever, I even bought GRR twice, once digitally because I couldn't find it physical then bought it for 75 off of ebay for a physical copy. I hear many people around me talking about the convenience of it all being able to go in and out of games without having to grab the case and put in a disc. I just never understood how digital games work in the long run.
You bought Gravity Rush Remastered for $75?
Buy physical if you can resell the game. Digital if you can't buy physical anymore, game has online only/limited use CD key, or is much cheaper than physical.
I'm not going to get too much into it and this is entirely subjective, but whatever here we go
>99.9% of the time It's always "in stock" (Since some games can be removed)
>Saves on space
>Can't be lost
>Can't be damaged
>Always with you
>Better for backup purposes
This one would be pretty controversial, Some might argue (and rightfully so) when servers go down you can't download your game anymore but there has never really been a case of this happening since digital is far too early.
Your house might even get burnt down or robbed, That's also a possibility.
When I moved house I had way too many games to move properly, I had to ditch a ton of cases for them, leave them in storage or just throw them away
That won't happen with a digital collection
I get that it looks nice on your shelf but is every game that sentimental to you?
Don't you miss physical releases?
not since i just pirated everything anyway
>>386178473
They still exist, you dumb pcbro
I miss physical manuals.
I'm happy most PC games don't require tons of space anymore.
