It was a great game overall, and very comfy to play. Writing and world building was well done, but it plays on a very safe level. It's obvious what the game is aiming to do and who is the focus, which takes away some of its merits
It goes on for longer than it should and can get tiresome
Combat encounters are very poorly designed, they're straight up boring, the system isn't deep and, well, it's RTwP, but the bad kind

Just what the fuck were they thinking? Played this for the first time, what a goddamn trainwreck. Literally can't get game overs, it "checkpoints" on every single platform; you get 4 shitty powers - two of them are the exact same, the other two are shitty minigames; don't have combat vs more than one enemy at a time and they have colour coded phases where they can only get hit by a certain type of attack; and the plot is just fine until you get to the ending and the game just goes "oh, everything you've been doing up till now? Yeah, undo it all haha".
Can't play the epilogue because apparently it's DLC and can't find it on PSNbut then again, I wouldn't pay for it, so I suppose it's pointless whether it's available or not

Dude its one of the worst stories. It is def a cash in. BUT once u get past the initial SHIT and just skip any combat(its dynasty warrior style). And you unlock the water freezing(and then memory power) its the BEST pop platforming out of any of the games. Def gove it a go but ull have a bad time in the first 2 hours

Pic related, can't stop laughing at stuff like Wywerns being called Y-Burns and Tonberries being Dinglberries. Also gotta love it how Faris keeps that retarded pirate speech going on even after she has no reason to cover her origins anymore, unlike in all other translations of the game.

So I just bought Hollow Knight, but the game feels really slow and the jumps imprecise.
My pc is a toaster, but if Ori works I guessed this should be fine. I even have the game running on low particle effects. and I'm playing it on a keyboard.
But is it normal it's so slow? Doesn't feel good at all.

Because it's an embarrassing downgrade and clearly rushed out project in general:
-You start with maximum HP and ammo cap, instead of "leveling up" after each boss fight.
-the new voice acting and soundtrack suck.
-the new localization sucks ass, and is pretty much direct Jap-to-English shit now.
-The MGS2 controls and moves, in unaltered MGS1 environments and enemy placements = the game becomes piss easy. The bossfights took the biggest hit, since you can now simply snipe them with your handgun.
-The added Dogtag collecting has no purpose at all, unlike in MGS2.
-The cutscenes are way too fucking crazy, being filled with 5 meter 360 double backflips and Matrix slowmotion. Oh, and tons of added "humor", which just ruins the characters and mood.
And to be honest, The Twin Snakes also looks fugly. Everything's just gray and cyan now, ruining the cold and dark industrial mood the original has. And the 3D models look waxy.

It's more or less MGS2 controls plopped onto MGS1 without restructuring the latter to make proper use of the new mechanics. Voice-acting is kind of soul-less. The cutscenes are schlocky as all get out, but that's not really a bad thing if you dig that kind fo thing.
