Well well well what do we have here? Looks like Tokyo Mirage Sessions assets that were designs exclusively for and by Nintendo made their way into games appearing on other Nintendo systems. Dancing Star Night and Dancing Moon Night have retextured areas that were from TMS as well. Yet none of these will ever appear on The Switch. I think Atlus fucked themselves they're going to go under. You don't backstab Nintendo like that and get away with it.

more and more games are being monetized trough increasingly devious "Gambling" mechanisms that target people with the personalities prone to gambling addiction, and children?
>A normal video game since the beginning of "Arcade Games" and "TV Games" was monetized in a very simple manner: you pay a fixed amount for a certain amount of play time or lives in an arcade game, or for a game you get to own and play however you want to.
But now, more and more games are being monetized in a completely different way to how (Western) games have always been monetized: with gambling or gambling related mechanism "borrowed" from the Casino industry. Using well known "tricks" to trick children and people with addictive personalities into getting addicted to the equivalent of a virtual "slot machine".
Seemingly gone are the days where one could pay a fixed amount for a fixed "thing". Instead, a gamer is nowdays more often then not asked to spend money on some variation of a "loot crate". The equivalent of pulling the lever in a slot machine. That gives a "randomized" "reward" (of course the house always wins, in the form of almost never giving you what you want, but instead making it seem like what you want can be obtained by just buying another loot crate).
Games are being increasingly built not with the goal of entertaining people, but instead with the goal of herding players into a situation where they either are eventually forced to buy a loot crate ("pull the lever") to advance the game at a certain point. Or are allowed to buy those crates with "in-game" money "given" to the player in the game... but with the catch that not nearly enough "free money" is being given to the player, thus tempting him to pay real money instead.

LoL has now lootboxes but you still can pay money directly for skins, unlike OW where you have to pray you get one from Loot Box or buy with currency you get from duplicates.
