Every fight in Joyful was a god tier build up to a shit tier fight. Conceptually, I loved most of the bosses in that game. Then you remember the gameplay is and always will be "Take a little under half your health in damage, attack, take a little under half your HP in damage, attack. Heal. Repeat. Get extra attacks in the time the boss decides not to attack."
Lisa's mechanics don't work with 1 party member.

Fable 2 was pretty good. I'm not sure how they managed to fuck up Fable 3 by making it arguably the smallest world with the shittiest combat and equipment. I can't really recall but I think 3 had good magic. Fable games are so fucking tiny all things considered though, I really hope they make a new one that's big enough in scope to really realise the mechanics well.
